Camera Software – Key Features

The WLV-01 software is designed to feel like a real camera — not a computer project. Every feature is built around manual control, intentional shooting, and a film-first experience.

Film Simulation Modes

Choose from a set of carefully tuned black & white film looks inspired by classic emulsions:

  • Ilford Delta 400 – clean contrast with smooth tonal transitions

  • Ilford HP5 – punchier contrast with visible grain

  • Kodak Tri-X 400 – bold, gritty, high-character look

Film simulations are applied in-camera, so what you see while composing closely matches the final image.

Aspect Ratio Selection

Switch between multiple aspect ratios directly in the camera interface to suit your composition style.

Supported ratios include:
16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 1:1, 4:5, 5:4, 3:4, 9:16, and more.

The preview updates instantly so you can compose accurately before capturing.

Focus Peaking

Manual focusing is assisted with a green highlight that shows which areas of the image are in sharp focus. This is especially useful when working with vintage or adapted lenses and for low-light or street photography.

Rangefinder Assist Mode

For a more traditional focusing experience, Rangefinder Assist replaces focus peaking with a clean, center-focused visual aid inspired by classic rangefinder cameras.

When enabled, the display simplifies automatically, helping you focus with intention and precision.

ISO Selection

Choose between Auto ISO or fixed ISO values depending on how much control you want over exposure.

Available options:
Auto, 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400

Shutter Speed Control

Select Auto Shutter or choose a specific shutter speed to freeze motion, introduce blur, or maintain consistent exposure across shots.

Double Exposure Mode

Create layered images directly in-camera.

Enable Double Exposure, take the first image, then compose the second shot using a live overlay before capturing the combined result — just like classic film cameras that supported double exposures.

RAW + JPG Capture

Every photo can be saved as:

  • a JPEG with your selected film look applied

  • a RAW (DNG) file for maximum flexibility in post-processing

This gives you both ready-to-share images and full-quality files for editing.
